Upcoming workshops

I run illustration workshops for adults in Copenhagen, where I'm currently based. You can keep up to date with my upcoming workshops via ARTXP or by following me on Instagram. For booking private events or 1:1 tutoring, feel free to get in touch. I am open to teaching all ages.
I strongly believe that we all possess creativity - so no matter your experience level, everyone is warmly welcome!
Focus

My teaching interests lie in meditative art practices, watercolours, botanical illustration,  gouache, colour mixing & theory,  observational drawing, playful mixed media art, drawing on location, character design,  and interactive art (e.g pop up books).
It brings me so much joy to share my passion and craft with students and watch as they grow in confidence, discover their unique voice and connect with others through the creative process.
Approach

With years of learning through a lot of trial and error, I have refined my craft as an illustrator and love to be able to set my students up with a solid foundation - full of all the tips and tricks I wish I knew when I was first starting out.
As important as technique is though, I also believe that we all have our own unique relationship to art and therefore, rules are made to be broken! That's why playfulness, curiosity and self exploration are values at the heart of both my teaching and personal art practice.
Where it started

For years, despite my obsession with illustration, I felt something was missing. I was craving community and wanted to explore skills beyond solitary work at my desk. In 2024, I led my first art workshops for young children (a Young Illustrators club at a children's bookshop, for kids aged 4 - 11) and discovered that this missing piece was teaching.
Although I was their teacher, my young students ended up teaching me so much about creativity and how to be more playful and uninhibited as an artist. If you're interested in teaching art to children, I've made a youtube video, where I cover everything I learnt, incl. tips on how to get started, ways to make your lessons engaging & inspiring and lots more!
